So me and my family were around Mira Mesa earlier today, and we saw this bum just walking around talking to himself. He was asking a few people for money but everyone said no and just looked at him funny. So he asks this one guy, and without hesitating, the guy pulls out his wallet and gives him a dollar. I kept watching the bum, and I thought it was the weirdest thing when I saw him crumple up the dollar and throw it into the bush behind him. He did it in the most uncaring way. We made eye contact for a second and he started walking towards me. He came up to the window and asked my Dad for money and my Dad just said, “Why don’t you just get the one you threw?” He just walked away like nothing mattered. Like he was in his own little world. But anyways, a few minutes later after he left, I went to the bush to look for the money he rejected. I learned how weird people can really be and gained a dollar. Woo!
